Community Bible Study is an international non denominational organisation that was started by Lee Campbell in 1975 in Bethesda, Maryland, USA.  As a result of prayer, over 500 people registered for the first class to study the Gospel of John and shortly after classes began to spread throughout the country.

CBS is now a global movement of God's Word and empowers discipleship in over 75 heart languages and more than 100 countries by offering a community-forming, verse-by-verse study of God’s transformative Word.

There are classes for all ages, from preschool to adults.

 

CBSI has been running in NZ for over 20 years and there are classes in various different parts of the country.
