DO I NEED TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE BIBLE TO ATTEND A COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY CLASS?

No, not at all.  In fact, Community Bible Study is one of the best ways to get to know the Bible.

 

 

WHAT DOES A TYPICAL COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY CLASS LOOK LIKE?

Each class will be a bit different, but all will contain the five essentials of CBS, i.e. a large group teaching time, small group time, personal home study, an insightful commentary and caring community amongst the class members.

HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED TO COMMIT TO DOING THE STUDY AT HOME DURING THE WEEK?

The homework is broken up into days so you can do a little bit every day.  Each day might have 3-4 questions to answer, so could take as little as 15-20 minutes, but some people like to do a bit of extra study on some topics so they could be spending a lot longer.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO ATTEND A COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY GROUP?

Each individual group is different, some will charge something to help cover the cost of printing the study books, others will just rely on donations to cover this.

IF THERE IS NO GROUP IN MY AREA, WHAT DO I DO?

You are welcome to enquire with us about starting your own group!  There is a training process involved for anyone who wants to run a group, and we are happy to come to you to complete this process with you.  Please contact us for further information.
